BMC Choristers Update

The CD, "Classic Male", is available now either from the Choir website or from Porters Estate Agents, Nolton Street or The News Shop, Dunraven Place. Price £10.00.

Rather than potentially detract from sales of "Classic Male", the compendium CD will be released early in the New Year.

John has made excellent progress with the Book's content. It has now been delivered to Paul Porter who is preparing it for presentation to the Publisher (at great cost saving to the Choir). John expresses his thanks to all for their contributions. It is hoped that the Anniversary Book will be available in early 2010.

The 2010 Tour will now * be to the North West, based at Liverpool. It is planned that there will be 2 concerts at prestigeous venues. The Choir performs on Thursday at The Mechanics Theatre, Burnley (first Welsh male choir ever to appear) and on Friday at the Metropolitan Catholic Cathedral (locally nicknamed "Paddy's wigwam"). 

* Planned visit to the North East thwarted by non-availabity of the venue on required dates

Special thanks to Peter, Gareth & John for their work in this regard. Already confirmed are the Cathedrals at Bristol, Birmingham, Liverpool & Cardiff. Work in hand could possibly add Wells Cathedral.

Sub Committee is well on the way with its plans for the formal dinner at the Heronston Hotel and a number of prestigeous events to mark this special year. More details to follow.
